Free Edx and Coursera Memberships to Palestinian Students and Academics
This initiative is launched by Dr Imed Romdhani (Tunisian Associate Professor based in Scotland, https://www.linkedin.com/in/imedromdhani ) in collaboration and partnership with the Scottish Charity Scot Aid (https://www.scotaid.org.uk), UNDP (https://www.undp.org), Edx (https://www.edx.org), Protected Consulting Tunisia (https://protected-consulting.com) and a group of academics from GAZA.
"The United Nations Development Programme’s Regional Bureau for Arab States (UNDP RBAS) and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) are offering free Coursera licenses (https://www.coursera.org) to Palestinian students and academics through the FutureSkills4All initiative. The initiative offers free and tailored online learning programmes meant to empower citizens with the skills they need to thrive in the ever-evolving job market".
This initiative aims to help students and academics in Gaza to continue studying and earn valuable verified academic and professional certificates.
This offer is ONLY for Palestinian students and academic staff.
How does it work?
If you are a student or a member of academic staff from one the universities in Gaza, please register and share the message.
Choose ONE option (one learning platform). We will grant you unlimited access for 3 months or as long as required to complete the courses or the professional certificates of your choice.
We will start FIRST with Coursera courses (distributed by UNDP RBAS that will contact you once registered)
In the coming weeks, we will provide Edx courses and DataCamp trainings for FREE to all students and academic staff if possible. Keep following us on social media (LinkedIn mainly).
